Father’s Day International ‘Chef Outta Water’ Beer and BBQ Lunch

Swoop in and celebrate Father’s Day with an International Beer and BBQ Lunch at the Magpie & Stump Hotel in Mintaro.

Gather the family and escape for the day. Come relax and chat with brewers and enjoy your choice of three beers including the collaboration brews between Migration Brewing and Smiling Samoyed Breweries and Migration Brewing and Clare Valley Brewing Company and the exclusive ‘Straight Outta Portland IPA’ Migration Brewing beer plus house wine, tap beer or soft drink. Also chat with international guest chef Chris Holen from the USA and Jeffrey Beal, Head Chef at the Magpie & Stump Hotel.
Upon arrival, the front bar and lawns will be open to welcome family and friends and finger foods* will be available.
Lunch will include a newly created Mintaro Sausage featuring local produce and using American and Australian blended techniques, Chef Holen’s Great American Burger plus two slow roasted pigs on a spit all accompanied by homemade slaw, relishes and chutneys and your choice of 2 desserts – an old-fashioned Aussie Apple Crumble and an American Pie! What better way to tantalise your taste buds this Father’s Day with a few brews and a BBQ. The Magpie and Stumps very own chef will be preparing a sensational sweet and sour homemade chutney made from Aunt Betty’s Pickles – perfect for this gourmet BBQ!
A selection of local Clare Valley wines will also be featured.
Tickets are $59 adults and $25 for kids under 12 (inclusive of booking fee). Tickets are limited and are now available online.

Finger food on arrival, BBQ lunch including a gourmet hot dog, American Burger, slow-cooked pig on a spit, slaw, and accompaniments. Three schooners of beer (as listed above) OR two glasses of featured wine. Choice of dessert.

Main meal, dessert and soft drink
